Аннотация

This article analyzes the issues of improving pricing policy mechanisms in state-owned enterprises using the
example of the electric power sector. The study highlights the challenges associated with the global growth of electricity
consumption, the need to adapt tariffs to market principles, and the importance of ensuring the financial stability of
state-owned enterprises. Based on the experience of foreign countries, including South Korea, India, China, the United
Kingdom, Japan, and Australia, the mechanisms of differential tariffs, tiered tariffs, time-dependent tariffs, and subscriber
fees are examined. The analysis demonstrates that pricing policy serves not only as a tool for cost recovery, but also as
an instrument for promoting energy efficiency and ensuring social protection. The article develops scientific recommendations
for introducing flexible and economically justified tariff mechanisms for state-owned energy enterprises under the
conditions of Uzbekistan.
