Some considerations about the specific features of advertising texts

This article examines the specific linguistic and communicative features of advertising
texts within the context of contemporary market relations. Special attention is paid to the influence of
advertising language on the recipient’s consciousness and social behavior. The study synthesizes
findings from linguistics, sociolinguistics, and motivational psychology to highlight the persuasive
and manipulative functions of advertising discourse. The role of advertising texts in shaping
consumer culture and reflecting societal values is also discussed
