This article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of the methodology for assessing export potential.
In particular, it analyzes the results of practical calculations using the comparative advantage index, also known as the
Balassa index, as well as the level of comparative advantage in Uzbekistan’s exports of leather and footwear products.
