Abstract

Structural economic reforms, managing inflation is crucial for macroeconomic stability. This
article investigates the asymmetric impact of rising prices on the purchasing power of various income groups.
Using econometric models and regression analysis, we empirically demonstrate that inflationary shocks
disproportionately harm low- and middle-income households, worsening socio-economic disparities. Since
traditional monetary tools alone are insufficient, we propose integrating inflation-targeting frameworks with
targeted social protection mechanisms to achieve price stability without hindering economic growth
