ECONOMIC STRUCTURE AND DEVELOPMENT PRIORITIES FOR STRENGTHENING INTERREGIONAL ECONOMIC COOPERATION: EVIDENCE FROM NAMANGAN REGION

Interregional economic cooperation plays a pivotal role in achieving balanced regional development and
improving economic efficiency. This study assesses the economic development potential of Namangan Region by analyzing
its sectoral structure, key socio-economic indicators and recent development trends. Using comparative and statistical
analysis, the research identifies the region’s strengths and structural constraints affecting interregional cooperation.
The findings reveal that while agriculture, services and investment demonstrate relatively strong performance, industrial
development remains insufficient to ensure sustainable economic growth. The findings provide evidence-based policy
recommendations for enhancing interregional economic cooperation and promoting balanced regional development in
Uzbekistan.
