##article.abstract##

This study examines the role of carbon markets in promoting sustainable agricultural
practices. It assesses the economic incentives and barriers associated with carbon emissions
trading in agribusiness. Data collected from farmers reveals that while carbon credits provide
financial benefits, the high cost of certification, volatile market prices, and complex regulations hinder
widespread participation. The study concludes that supportive policies, improved market stability,
and technological access are essential to enhance carbon market effectiveness in agriculture.
