Mazkur maqolada O‘zbekiston Respublikasining seysmik xavfi yuqori bo‘lgan hududlarida istiqomat qiluvchi
aholining kam qavatli turar-joy binolari seysmik xavfsizligini ta’minlash masalasi yoritilgan. Aholining 63,7 foizi qishloq joylarda
yashashi va mahalliy qurilish materiallari keng qo‘llanilishi hisobga olinar ekan, zilzila vaqtida eng katta zarar aynan
bunday binolarga yetayotgani tahlil qilingan. Tadqiqot metodlari sifatida zilzilalarning oqibatlarini baholash va mavjud
inshootlarning seysmik bardoshliligini tahlil qilish yondashuvlari qo‘llanilgan. Xulosa qilib aytganda, mahalliy sharoitda
qurilgan past qavatli binolarni seysmik barqarorligini oshirish bo‘yicha nazariy va amaliy yondashuvlarni ishlab chiqish
dolzarb ilmiy vazifa sifatida belgilanadi
