Abstract

This article provides the main recommendations for the use of drilling fluids containing
3M glass microspheres. The article presents information on the preparation of lightweight drilling
fluids used in the drilling of oil and gas wells under complex conditions, the development of their
compositions, property management, changes in the fluid during drilling, fluid stability, and its
purification.
