Abstract

This article examines the improvement of economic analysis methods within the strategic management system for e-commerce development in Uzbekistan. The study aims to develop a methodological approach that integrates financial, operational, and customer-related indicators when assessing the performance of e-commerce enterprises and platforms. It explores the application of comparative, ratio, factor, segment, cohort, and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making. Particular attention is paid to order-level contribution margins, customer acquisition costs, customer lifetime value, repeat purchases, and logistics efficiency. The article proposes a methodological framework based on data integration, standardized performance indicators, and the systematic incorporation of analytical findings into management decisions. The proposed framework is conceptual rather than empirically validated. Further research using enterprise-level transaction and financial data is therefore required to assess its practical effectiveness in Uzbekistan.
