BUDGET MANAGEMENT AND FINANCIAL EFFICIENCY ASSESSMENT OF PROJECTS IN IT COMPANIES

This thesis examines the integration of financial management and project management methods in IT companies. The specific features of IT project budgets, the main causes of cost overruns, and the limitations of traditional budgeting in an Agile environment are analyzed. The use of Earned Value Management (EVM) for monitoring project cost and schedule performance, as well as investment indicators (NPV, ROI, and payback period) for assessing the financial efficiency of IT projects, is described. Practical recommendations are developed to improve budget control and financial decision-making in IT companies.Keywords
