This thesis examines the efficiency of credit resource allocation in commercial banks. Based on official data from the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan for July 2025 and July 2026, the study analyzes changes in credit portfolios, deposits, capital, liquidity, and the regional distribution of loans. The results indicate that deposits grew faster than the credit portfolio, while lending remained relatively concentrated in Tashkent. The study highlights the importance of risk-based lending, portfolio diversification, creditworthiness assessment, and continuous monitoring in improving the efficiency of credit resource allocation. Keywords
