ANALYSIS OF CONTAINER RAIL TRANSPORTATION IN THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN: FACTORS AND DIRECTIONS FOR IMPROVING ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY

The purpose of this study is to identify reserves for improving the economic efficiency of container rail transportation in Uzbekistan. Rather than merely comparing absolute traffic volumes, the analysis integrates transportation scale, corridor speeds, border delays, container turnaround, empty mileage, terminal organization, and the regularity of block-train services. The study presents a SWOT analysis of container rail transportation in the Republic of Uzbekistan and proposes directions for improving its economic efficiency.Keywords
