The article develops a conceptual design and evaluation methodology for a multifunctional energy-efficient system intended for drying agricultural products based on a solar concentrator. The drying chamber is separated from the concentrator’s high-temperature receiver by means of a heat exchanger. The proposed architecture integrates direct solar energy utilization, operation with a thermal energy storage system, and auxiliary heating modes when necessary. An algorithm for controlling airflow, temperature, and humidity is described. The moisture balance, energy performance indicators, and comparative experimental criteria are presented. The illustrative calculation is not an experimental result but serves to explain the theoretical requirements. The outcome of the study is a design solution and measurement program that should be experimentally validated. Keywords
