Abstract

This thesis examines the theoretical foundations of the investment activity mechanism and its main structural elements. It highlights the role of economic interests, resources, the institutional environment, market factors, and infrastructure in shaping investment decisions. The interrelationship among the motivational, resource, institutional, market, transformational, and result-oriented components of the investment activity mechanism is also substantiated. Based on the research findings, an author’s definition of the investment activity mechanism is proposed, and the importance of ensuring resource, performance, and institutional balance in improving this mechanism is justified.
