Given the uncertainties and financial risks observed in the global economy, ensuring the sustainable development of the banking system remains an important objective. The introduction of innovative business models in retail banking, the expansion and diversification of retail products and services offered through digital technologies, the reduction of operational and market risks, and the enhancement of cybersecurity are considered increasingly relevant. This study examines the theoretical foundations for the development of retail banking services by commercial banks and for addressing existing challenges.Keywords
