Abstract

This article analyzes the improvement of the metrological assurance of electrotechnical systems on the basis of digital monitoring and intelligent diagnostic tools. Traditional metrological assurance relies on the periodic verification and calibration of measuring instruments; consequently, the actual state of a measuring channel remains uncontrolled during the interval between two calibrations. In electric power engineering, the metrological reliability of metering points, current and voltage transformers, and temperature, vibration, and insulation-condition sensors directly affects the technical and economic performance of the system. The article proposes a multi-level digital monitoring model that enables continuous observation of the state of measuring channels and substantiates the combined application of statistical process control, analytical redundancy, and machine learning methods for the early detection of drift in metrological characteristics. In addition, an approach to condition-based determination of calibration intervals, the structural organization of the proposed system, and a set of indicators for evaluating its effectiveness are developed.
