Abstract

This thesis analyzes the prospects for providing retail credit services to individuals through credit cards in
commercial banks of Uzbekistan. It highlights the credit scoring system, criteria for assessing borrowers’ creditworthiness,
and issues in the development of credit card infrastructure. The study also identifies strategies for expanding retail
lending through credit cards based on international best practices
